What is the Jamboree?

The IRCHA Jamboree - The World’s Largest RC Helicopter Event

Every August, pilots and enthusiasts from around the globe gather at the AMA Headquarters in Muncie, Indiana for the IRCHA Jamboree. More than a “fun fly,” this week-long event is the ultimate celebration of RC helicopters. It combines thrilling flying, friendly competition, and a true sense of community.

A Sky Full of Action

From sunrise to late into the night, the skies buzz with everything from micro helis to 50-pound giants. Whether you’re a beginner making your first flights or a seasoned pro pushing the limits, there’s a place for everyone. Aerobatics, casual flights, and jaw-dropping demonstrations fill each day with nonstop excitement.

More Than Flying

The Jamboree is as much about people as it is about helicopters. It’s a chance to connect with fellow hobbyists, trade tips, share stories, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes this event feel like a yearly family reunion for the RC community.

    A Celebration of Flight,

At its core, the IRCHA Jamboree is about the shared joy of flight—watching helicopters lift off, mastering new maneuvers, and celebrating the passion that unites us. It’s more than an event; it’s a tradition, a reunion, and a dream made real in the skies over Muncie.
